The forms you may download with your lifetime membership will show you how to make the required files for your business, provide all necessary forms with line-by-line instructions on how to fill out each form, and have access to these same forms for any new-hire, for example, for the lifetime of your company. We will also give you tips on either way you are required to submit to your audit, and how to pass with flying colors. In fact, we are so completely certain that you will pass your audit, that we guarantee 100% that if you follow our instructions, you WILL pass your New Entrant Safety Audit!! The penalty if you FAIL your audit is a mandatory 30 day shutdown of your business, no exceptions. Then you must re-enter the Probationary period for your Authority again from Day One! When you get your new membership you will be given a special number to call for personal assistance until your questions are answered and your files are ready for you to pass your audit.
Sometimes, in the course of your business the FMCSA may call on you for an in-house Focused audit. Depending on the area where you need help, your audit may include one or more of the following areas: hours-of-service (logs), crashes, maintenance, drugs & alcohol, driver fitness and safe driving. We will give you tips & tools on how to survive this audit, what kind of rating you may expect and what to do in a worse case scenario.
Depending on your safety numbers, how your drivers fare in a variety of the different safety areas, you may be called upon to undergo a full compliance review. This is a polite way of their saying, "We are going to come to your place of business (the place where you keep your files-whether it is your home, your office or a consultant's or any other office) and go over every category of safety ranging back from 6 months in hours of service to over 2 years (in some cases of drug & alcohol compliance). The Feds don't fool around, and we will give you some insight, help and advice on how to survive this audit, and what to do if you do not survive it. Just remember, you will always be given an opportunity to keep in business, unless you have done something like open 5 authorities just to escape safety compliance, or some other agregious violation, in which case they can pull the plug without notice. This is a service we will be working on in the very near future. But if you have followed our advice in setting up the files and forms you are required to have at the very beginning, then you should never have this problem in the first place. But, if worse comes to worse, we will be here to offer assistance.
